Your account and associated data will be deleted immediately.
Without Accessing the App
If you cannot access the app, email us at
contact@numidia.app
from the
email address associated with your Numidia account.
This allows us to verify account ownership and prevent unauthorized
deletion requests. Requests are processed within
30 days.
What Is Deleted
All data is permanently purged from our servers:
Your account credentials and email address;
Your username and display preferences;
Your vocabulary review history and learning statistics;
Your active streak count and records;
All associated push notification device tokens.
Your pronunciation recordings are never stored: they are analysed and
deleted immediately.
Nothing can be restored. There is no grace period or
recycle bin: if you reinstall the app later, you will start from scratch.
What May Be Kept, and for How Long
A few technical records, which cannot be used to recreate your account,
remain for a limited time with our service providers:
Purchase history: if you subscribed to Numidia
Premium, Google Play or the App Store and our payment provider
(RevenueCat) keep a record of your purchases, linked to a technical
identifier, for as long as accounting and tax obligations require;
Error reports (Sentry): linked to a technical
identifier, automatically deleted after 90 days at most;
Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase):
pseudonymous, automatically deleted after 14 months at most;
Database backups: automatically deleted after 7 days
at most.
Nothing is retained and data cannot be restored. There
is no recovery grace period; reinstalling the app later will start a
fresh account from scratch.
Subscriptions Must Be Cancelled Separately
Crucial Note: In-app subscriptions are managed directly
by Google Play or Apple App Store. Deleting your Numidia user account
does not automatically stop recurring billing from the
app store.
Cancel your subscription first in your device settings:
Android: Google Play → Profile / Menu → Payments
& Subscriptions → Subscriptions → Numidia → Cancel
iOS: Settings → Your Apple ID Profile → Subscriptions
→ Numidia → Cancel Subscription
